· Obtain Consent from Landusers & Grazing Official
· Submit Application with Certificate of Navajo Indian Blood
· Submit a $15.00 Filing Fee
· Obtain Archeological Clearance Report and Compliance Form
Navajo Land Department Responsibility
· Review Application and enter in data base
· Schedule survey appointment and provide filing fee receipt to customer
· Legal Descriptions and Survey Plat Certification
· Assemble Lease Agreement with the required document routed for Navajo Land Department Director approval
Bureau of Indian Affairs Real Estate Service Responsibility
· Agency Review Process and recommendation for Regional Director Approval
· Lease approval routed to Land Title Records Office for recording
· Real Estate Service distributes finalize lease agreement to customer and Navajo Land Department
